English below.

Hello after a while missing! Summer, you know... lot of fun, lot of travels, and an awful lot of things to do to close last course and prepare next (and luckily this year I have no exams in september...)

There's a web called Internet Movie Data Base (a.k.a. IMDB), which is, for me, the maximum referent about movies. There you can find all the movies (released or not yet), pictures, comments, cross-references of actors and directors... It is, above all, a very good data base. It also has a calification system for movies and series, with which I usually agree.
In IMDB there are two main lists, the Top 250 (that we are talking about today), and the Bottom 100, which we will treat another day.

And there's a web, twofifty.org, that allows you to mark the movies from this Top 250 that you have seen, and share your list with your friends.
I have, finally, managed to see the top 10 of this Top 250, which you can see above. You can see my Top 250 clicking the bottom in the right column, or just here.

From this 10 movies, I must say that The Godfather is imho a piece of art, but I don't think its second part deserves to be so high in the ranking.
The Shawshank Redemption is just brilliant, as the book.
Il buono, il brutto, il cattivo is a classic. It is worth to see it in OV (italian), and check which actors speak in italian and which are dubbed (you don't think Clint Eastwood speaks italian, do you?)
Pulp Fiction is... no comments.
I didn't like Schindler's list at all. I don't think is a bad movie, though. But it's not, by far, the 6th best.
The Empire Strikes Back is the best movie from the trilogy. Them who denie it shall be dead. The battle in Hoth. Yoda's magistral lessons. Luke running around with the midgeon at his back. And, above all.... Luke, I'M your father.
I loved Casablanca, against all odds. I think it should be higher in the list.
One flew over the cuckoo's nest is a piece of art, that leads you from comedy to drama back and forth all the time.
And... well, The Return of the King is by far the best LOTR movie. Those battles, those photography, those scenarios,... I still prefer the book, though.
